I love the neighborhood in this area.
All the Senate buildings connect by tram to the Capital and to the Library of Congress.
Considering Lady was super tired she did well. We were out of the house at 8:00am and did not return until 4:00pm and she had a 20min nap somewhere in there.
Freedom on top of the dome.
There were many statues inside the Capital but this one was cool because its the heaviest of all the statues and sunk two ships trying to get here from Hawaii.
This is how Lady rode for the whole tour.
Were standing in front of Freedom which is a replica of whats on top of the Capital.
Lady attempting to smile.
There was such beautiful architecture and paintings all throughout the Capital.
Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Susan B. Anthony, Lucretia Mott these ladies were the pioneers of the Women's Suffrage Movement. Apparently the rock behind the women is not yet carved waiting for our first female president.
The old Senate office.
We were also able to sit inside the House of Representatives meeting room its also were the State of the Union is given that was my favorite part.
Cheers to exploring our Nations Capital.
