James 1: 5-6

I am proud to announce I am among 1000 woman all over the U.S that are involved with a Group called Good Morning Girls.
What is Good Morning Girls? “Good Morning Girls” is a title for a group of women who use email, facebook, or twitter to keep each other accountable for their quiet times. As a group, you decide which form of communication is best for everyone.
How Does Good Morning Girls Work? Each morning, (Monday-Friday) the first person who has her quiet time starts the group off. She will email, facebook, or twitter her group and share what she read and learned during her quiet time that morning. Then each member of her group will reply to the whole group after they have their quiet time. If you are using email then you will choose REPLY ALL when sending your email. If you are using a facebook group, then you will COMMENT on that day’s post. If you are using twitter, you will use REPLY or #GoodMorningGirls.
We are studying the book of James for the next three months and already three days into I am learning so much.
First lets just say God Is Good!! All the time!
Today we read James 1: 5-6
Trials and Temptations
2 Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. 5 If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. 6 But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.

I admire my husband and am so blessed to have such a man of God. We are both in our early twenties and the wisdom that God has given him, I have never met anyone at this age with. And so I asked him one day "how did you get such wisdom" and he responded "I asked for it." O.... well... ok... can I ask for wisdom? He said you sure can and then he gave me the scripture above. Whenever I need wisdom and understanding for a situation I ask God for them. He is more than generous in giving me the wisdom I need for a situation but the most important thing that I have learned and am still learning is not to doubt or waver in the answer God gives. That can be hard for our flesh sometimes, but like James 1:2-4 says once we go through trails and we come out on top. With joy and perseverance we grow and mature in our faith so the next time I go to God for Wisdom in a situation I know my God is Great because I made it through the last trail because of His Faithfulness.

God Is Good!
