Today I am going to step away from blogging about furniture, I might do this often and touch on topics that make me happy or I think are really cool. I think even some of the best blogs will be about my nine month old daughter Ava.

But today I want to dedicate this blog to a very dear friend of mine, Gaby. She is a gift from God and is an answered prayer. When I first came to D.C. I did not know anyone and really needed a good girlfriend and she quickly became a great friend to me that now I consider her like family. Today I spent the good portion of the day with her and her family. I really enjoy spending time with her family, it reminds of what its like to be with mine who are to far to see everyday. Thank you Gaby and thank you Navarrete family for welcoming me and my family with open arms.
