 By far the coolest merry-go-round I have ever seen. We went to the National Zoo in DC this week and this thing did not just have the generic horse or unicorn (which by the way is Ladybirds favorite animal right now and unicorns are taking over the house). The carousel had an ostrich, giraffe, praying-mantis, lizard, panda and much more. Ladybird enjoyed herself immensely and asked to go again.

Zeke Bear is officially 4-months and growing and growing and I don't know how to make it stop. I thought it only fitting to take a picture in front of the small mammal house with little man. I think my anthropology teacher would think he finally convinced me that we are in "fact" all animals. Ummm... I think not.

8/52 St. Patrick's Day Edition

I am a wee bit behind on posting and I am trying to catch up. We have had a busy and fun week so far, I have a good friend of mine all the way from South Africa visiting us. So.. there... I have a good excuse.

I am so about to post St. Patrick Day photos a week late. I tried to get everyone in some shade of green on Sunday and it was great success.

I actually wore this out on our St. Patrick's Saturday dinner out. But to be fare I did wear green pants on Sunday.

 This is little man in his sissy's room, Ladybird set him up with all her stuffed animals. He is just so yummy.

Sorry for low quality photo but I had to share my little Viking. We went this past weekend to the Nordic Festival at the Kennedy Center and this is little man sporting a Viking hat.

This little chickadee loves her baby brother who she has taken to name him Tweak the Bunny from the Disney cartoon show Octonauts. Ladybird as changed her name to Peso the Penguin, Hubby is now Kwazii the Kitten and I am Dashi the Dog. Lady is the best little mommy I know, she not only shows infinite amount of love to "Tweak" but she is so willing to help and be ever so gentle with him. Tweak is blessed to have such a wonderful big sister. He shows his love by cooing and smiling at her, which she takes in with pure joy. It's beautiful to see them together and to know that will always have each other.

OK so I am late on my weekly posting of the kiddos but as they say "better late than never". Sunday was the Superbowl so we were super busy the whole day. We had a great time watching the Superbowl with friends and Zeke Bear slept the whole time and Ladybird played the whole time, all in all it was great success.

I love having this one on one time together with them both and no other distractions. 

Zeke Bear is starting to smile and coo and it just melts my heart every time #it never gets old

My little fashionista as soon as she sees dress up clothes she is in them. She is wearing tap shoes and she had a blast making noise the whole night.

I just found this really cool Link-Up from Che & Fidel to take a photo a week of my little darlings for the rest of the year. So get used to seeing my little ones every Sunday. I think this is really cool because I get to see how much Zeke Bear and Lady Bird grow and change over the course of the year!
