DIY Botanical Prints

I was really inspired by Holly at

.

To create my own frames either but painting new ones or taking old ones and giving it a new coat of paint.

So I choose the former and went to ikea to look for frames, well my heart skipped a beat when I found pictures that were a botanical print. I had been looking and looking for botanical prints that were less that $200 and no luck until found these beauties.

So I grabbed two packs of three pictures and found these great frames that I could make my own, 6 total and headed towards the register before I woke up from this awesome dream.

I went to Michaels Craft store and bought primer/sealer and yellow crackle paint and also found a distress antique ink pad. Here is the finished product hope you like it as much as I do.

This was my first project!! I am super proud of myself. : D Thanks for the inspiration Holly.
